It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

For the month of MAY, our book quote theme is: FLOWERS

The French do have a way of speaking in flowers. I have been meaning to read Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (Amazon | Book Depository) for the longest time, but only ended up watching the play instead back in 2014.

The play version definitely trumps the film adaptation. I remember crying just a few minutes into the play. Immensely powerful and unforgettable.
