[Book Quote Tuesday] Drawing A Line for Justice

Myra here.

It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

For the month of MAY, our book quote theme is: JUSTICE.

The Philippine election is happening this month (yes, I am a registered voter), and so I thought of devoting the entire month to JUSTICE, especially since fabrications, deceptions, manufactured versions of alternate realities are being peddled as so-called ‘truths.’

I bought a copy of Harper Lee’s Go Set A Watchman (Amazon | Book Depository) when it first came out, but I have yet to read it. I am planning on reading it after I finally find the time to read To Kill A Mockingbird (Amazon | Book Depository) which I shamefully admit to not having read yet. After Philippine Presidential Candidate (and human rights lawyer) Leni Robredo mentioned this to be her favourite book, I bumped it up my to-be-read-stack.

Have you read Go Set A Watchman yet?

How is it different from Harper Lee’s first novel?
