How to make new DIY crayons from recycled crayons

The Kid Should See This

When your crayons are getting all stubby and hard to use, don’t throw them away! Collect them to make new diy crayons. This quick video from emmymade demonstrates how to make diy crayons from leftover crayons using an old cupcake tin or a silicone mold in any shape that you’d like.

Coat the tin with oil, load it up with small pieces of the colors you’d like, melt at 350° F for 3-5 minutes, and put them in the freezer before popping them out. Freezing them is also a great way to get them out of their paper covers in the first place.
