[Book Quote Tuesday] Once in a blue moon, a flower blooms…

Myra here.

It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

For the month of March, our book quote theme is: BLOOM.

This novel We by Yevgeny Zamyatin (Amazon | Book Depository) has been banned in Russia and suppressed for over sixty years. It is said to be the forerunner of George Orwell’s 1984 (Amazon | Book Depository) and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (Amazon | Book Depository). Given all that is happening with the world today, I am beginning to feel that I should bump this up my to-be-read stack. I also find it curious to cite a dystopian/science-fiction novel for our prompt word of bloom.

Have you read “We”? Any thoughts on this novel?
